June Report

Our last meeting was pretty short, that is what happens when you change the dates. Well we should be back to normal again.

Talk about a weather change ugh.. 100 degree weather is here. This is the time of year to keep yourself hydrated while you are out riding and about. We all love to stop for a cocktail but please make sure you have some water to. Let’s all watch out for those cage drivers. They certainly are not looking out for us.

One of our members Margie(also an Abate member and Officer) went out in may to Mesa City Council to get a declaration for Motorcycle Safety, not only did she walk away with that she also walked away talking the council members into putting up 10 permanent street signs that say “LOOK OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES” .Way to go!  I would love to see more cities get involved. All it takes is to go to the city council meeting in your area and present the issue. If you have any questions on this please contact James Gonzales.

Our Brotherly Luv in is July 17th flyer in this month paper for more details. So wear your Tye-Dye and come out and join us. This year we are helping out the local Greyhound rescue. They will have a few dogs there for adoption if anyone one is interested. I believe last year we actually had 3 dogs adopted for the local no kill shelter. Hope to see you there.

That’s it for now
