The Council is made up of the following five (5) members:

1. Matt Morales-Chairman
2. Dick Studdard-Vice Chair
3. Paul Price
4. Mick Degn
5. Lou Borland

The last meeting was held February 10 at 10:30am and Matt Morales was elected Chairman.  This was a very short meeting and the Director asked that we hold off on any spending till the Council had a chance to go over the recommendations along with concern on State headcount cuts that could affect some of the recommendations.

The next meeting was set and agenda items set which are critical to the previous discussions. Some of the topics for the next meeting include: May Safety Awareness, Proclamation’s, Centenial, Plan, and Budget along with some other critical items.

The Council is excited about the next meeting and the areas to go over. A lot of work to be done but the council is committed to working with the Director and the Public on this. It’s critical that we treat this like a business.
